Cookie policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies idRent uses, what they're for and how you can manage them.

1. Strictly-necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to work. They do not require consent under ePrivacy.

• move_access — session token (15 minutes). Without it you can't be signed in.
• move_refresh — refreshes your session without asking you to log in every 15 minutes (7 days).
• NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language preference.
• idrent_cookie_choice (localStorage) — remembers your choice on this very banner.

2. Analytics and marketing cookies

Today idRent uses none. If we later integrate Google Analytics, Hotjar or similar tools, we'll enable them only if you've clicked Accept on the banner. Until then, the banner is there as a show of respect for your privacy — not as cover for a hidden tracker.

3. Third-party cookies

The Stripe checkout flow (embedded) may set Stripe cookies in your browser during payment, under its own policy. We don't have access to that data. See Stripe's cookie policy.

4. How to manage your cookies

You can block or delete cookies any time from your browser settings. Note that blocking the strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing into idRent.

To review or change your choice in the consent banner, open your browser's console and run localStorage.removeItem('idrent_cookie_choice'), then reload the page.
